I was born in Melbourne, Australia, in 1965. After a degree and a decade in human resources, I became a creative and business writer.
My stories have appeared on ABC Radio and in 20 magazines worldwide, including Eidolon, Overland, Large and RoyalAuto. I've won several awards and earned a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Melbourne.
My business, The Feisty Empire , has provided high-end writing, editing and proofreading services to 1100 organisations of every size and sector, including many local councils.
I've calculated that I can save Australian local councils a total of at least $6M per year forever through better communications. Each one I gain as a client brings this vision closer to reality.
I live in a 110-year-old cottage in Melbourne with my one true love, two Jack Russell terriers and six fish. I like walking, swimming, reading and appreciating nature.
